Students from the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft – HTW Berlin visited Barcelona interested in the topic of social innovation. We delivered a workshop based on the idea of collecting the symbols and traces of the Indignados revolution and its context in the Sants District in Barcelona. Sants has been historically a place for popular meeting, demonstrations and the settlement of many social and independentist groups and associations in Barcelona. Exploring the area and understanding the symbols, the space and the storytelling provided an interesting angle for our Aesthetics of Revolution research too.

Nos la pasamos maravillosamente haciendo mentoring para los participantes del primer Barcelona Gov jam organizado por we Question Our project en la Escuela de Administración Publica de Cataluña. El reto incluía crear un servicio que motivara a los jóvenes a activar relaciones de comunidad haciendo uso del espacio público de la ciudad. la propuesta ha sido un servicio llamado PopUp Sport, que ofrece a los ciudadanos la posibilidad de realizar eventos deportivos en su calle a través de un pack que incluye un permiso del ayuntamiento, e instalaciones deportivas portátiles que se pueden trasportar y poner en las calles, generando un campo deportivo itinerante a demanda de las comunidades.
